Custom Coin Design Process
Creating a 3D printed custom coin is a blend of creativity, precision, and personalisation.
The process follows these steps:
Concept & Purpose
Every coin starts with a clear idea, whether it’s for a commemorative event, branding, awards, or personal keepsakes.
The purpose guides all design choices.
Size Options
Small (40–50 mm) – Lightweight, pocket-friendly, ideal for giveaways.
Medium (50–70 mm) – Balanced size for detail and handling.
Large (70 mm+) – Bold presence, perfect for display pieces.
Coins can be produced up to a maximum of 250mm.
Design Elements
Using CAD software, the coin’s shape, relief depth, and surface textures are modelled.
You can choose:
Flat, raised, or engraved details.
Smooth or patterned edges for extra character.
Wording & Typography
Add names, dates, mottos, or slogans.
Optional metallic colours in gold, silver, or bronze.
Printing & Post-Processing
The design is sliced for 3D printing, then produced in PLA filament.
Post-print finishing may include sanding, polishing, painting, or clear-coating for durability.

Terms and Conditions
All Blue Light Trophies are designed and printed by Blue Light Sports Foundation in the United Kingdom.
Please allow up to 30-days for dispatch after successful payment.
Custom 3D Printed Products
All custom-designed 3D printed products are made to order based on the specifications provided by the customer. Due to the bespoke nature of these items:
No Returns or Refunds – Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged unless the item is found to be defective due to manufacturing error.
Design Approval – Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all design proofs prior to production. Any errors or omissions in approved designs are the customer’s responsibility.
Material & Finish Variations – Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to the 3D printing process and material properties. These are not considered defects.
Intellectual Property – The customer warrants that any designs, logos, or content provided do not infringe on third-party rights. The company accepts no liability for IP disputes arising from client-supplied designs.
Usage Disclaimer – Products are intended for decorative or non-critical use unless otherwise agreed in writing. The company is not liable for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse.
