The centre will provide a base of operations for the charity, both regionally and nationally, to deliver adaptive sports programmes, sports teams, national leagues and community based programmes to meet the needs of the sick, injured and disabled emergency services communities and local residents.
The centre will be a dedicated, inclusive facility designed to support sick, injured, and disabled emergency, volunteer and blue light service workers, civil servants, armed forces communities, along with their families, through tailored physical activity, rehabilitation, and community engagement.
This centre will combine specialist rehabilitation equipment, accessible sports facilities, and expert-led adaptive fitness programmes to help individuals regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellbeing. It will feature fully accessible sports and leisure activities, accessible climbing zone and crazy golf course, adaptive sports courts, and multi-use spaces for both physical and social activities.
Beyond physical recovery, the centre will foster emotional resilience and peer connection by creating a safe, welcoming environment where service workers and their loved ones can share experiences, build friendships, and access mental health support.
By integrating inclusive design principles, family-friendly amenities, and specialist coaching, the Adaptive Sports Centre will not only aid recovery but also celebrate the courage and service of those who protect our communities, ensuring they and their families have the resources, respect, and support they deserve.
Hiring the Centre
Sports clubs, organisations, businesses and charities will be able to hire the centre for events.
Blue LIght Sports Foundation is a charity and will offer charity rates to all eligible charitable organisations, as well as competitive rates to all others who wish to use the space for their events.

You can Purchase a Digital Brick to donate to the project
We have a fantastic way in which members of the public and businesses can support the build of the project, through purchasing 'digital bricks' as a way of making a donation.
Every brick represents someone who believes in what we are building. Your donation helps to create a dedicated home for adaptive and inclusive sports, giving people of all abilities the opportunity to train, compete and connect.
Add your brick to the pile and help to lay the foundations, becoming a lasting legacy of the first Blue Light Arena, Adaptive Sports Centre.
